Hi everyone!
My friend Breanna and I are running the SAN DIEGO ZOO HALF MARATHON on May 5th, 2013 and we are running to raise money for the endangered one-horned rhinos!
We are aiming to raise $1000.00 and we need YOUR help! Just $1.00 makes a difference - especially since I have 5000 friends on Facebook!

Thank You, Thank You!
I wanted to take a little time here to say Thank You to some amazing and talented artists who helped me so so so much on the day of the Golden Globes.
Sommer Dunsmir of Flirt Lash Studio did custom lash extensions for me prior to my arrival in Los Angeles. If you're in the GTA of Toronto and you want quality, affordable, and beautiful lashes, I insist you talk to Sommer. Sommer started her own business from the ground up, and not only is she one of the most successful, professional and talented lash stylists in the Toronto area, she's also a great conversation while she's doing your lashes. I'm really so proud of Sommer and she always makes me feel beautiful and confident - I will make frequent trips back to Toronto just to see Ms. Dunsmir.
I'm really lazy when it comes to doing makeup and hair, so if you're like me and you want amazing lashes - lashes that mascara can't give you - and like me, if you're sick of poking yourself in the eye with the mascara wand, leaving that giant black mark on your contact lens, thus making you look like an effin' PIRATE all day - then you need to visit FLIRT CUSTOM LASH STUDIO!
I also need to thank Richard Grant, hair stylist at RICHARD GRANT HAIR MANAGEMENT who gave me the perfect, beachy, "not too done" look for the evening. When Richard asked me what I wanted, I said, "I want my hair to look really good - beachy, tussled - and I want it to look like I don't really care that much". And poof! He knew exactly what I meant and created something flawless and wonderful. I have a list of 5 things that I really suck at, and doing hair is #1. Thank goodness for you, Richard!
I also want to thank make-up artist extraordinaire, Ms. K.C. Fee at EXCLUSIVE ARTISTS MANAGEMENT. I'd rather not go into the details of how many zits I had that day, and how incredibly she did on covering them up - but when I use the word incredible, I mean it. I would not have been able to walk down that red carpet without K.C.'s expertise and talent, that's for sure. With K.C.'s help, I knew I looked good, which gave me the confidence to tell Steve Buschemi how much I really loved him.
And of course - thank you Julie (on a daily basis), Quentin, Coco and Paula. My LA family!

Love,
Lianne

University of Toronto: Innis College Cinema Studies Newsletter
I graduated from the University of Toronto twice. The first time, I received an honours degree in Cinema Studies in 2007. Then I went back and did another degree in Education and graduated in 2009. Recently, Innis College (which holds the Department of Cinema Studies) featured me in their Alumni magazine, distributed by the University of Toronto itself. I am perhaps more proud of this little piece than any press I've ever received. I guess it's not so recent, looking over it - I was interviewed for this article almost a year ago now.
Love,
Lianne
