Lianne Spiderbaby is a writer for Fangoria magazine, and she occasionally pens for Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. She is also currently working on her first book, Grindhouse Girls: Cinema’s Hardest Working Women ©, about exploitation and horror actresses in the 1970s. Lianne is also the host of horror web-show, Fright Bytes, and she made her first acting appearance in the upcoming TBK: Toolbox Murders 2.

Prior to writing for Fangoria, Lianne wrote for websites such as Buried, Bloody Disgusting, and The Horror Channel. She volunteered for Rue Morgue for several years, including a gig working as Herschell Gordon Lewis’ personal assistant. Lianne has also been featured as the "Horror Hottie Of The Month" at KillerFilm, and she was the August 2011 “Scream Queen of The Month”.

Lianne Spiderbaby holds an honors degree with distinction in Cinema Studies (specializing in film history, the representation of women in film, and grindhouse spectatorship theory) from the University of Toronto and she always preaches brains before beauty.
